For many, the start of a new year is about making a commitment to change for the better. Whether it's about eating healthy or improving family relationships, L.A. Care's Family Resource Centers (FRCs) are great places that our members and the community can turn to for support and make that resolution a reality.
We have five FRCs, which are located in Boyle Heights, Inglewood, Lynwood, Pacoima and Palmdale. They offer free classes on topics such as how to make healthy meals and manage diabetes, and run fun, family-oriented Zumba, Pilates and yoga sessions. The FRCs don't just focus on health either; classes cover relationships, parenting tips, social service programs, as well as early education activities for kids like group readings and arts and crafts.
L.A. Care encourages members and the community to take advantage of this free resource. Search for a class on our L.A. Care Events page or visit one of our Family Resource Centers today to learn about all their benefits and services.
