People are often hesitant about getting a flu shot, but more than 80,000 people died from the flu last season in the United States. An estimated 900,000 were hospitalized.
L.A. Care has been conducting free flu shot clinics for more than a decade. These clinics are part of the health plan's commitment to keeping members healthy, and protecting the public health in the midst of the flu season.
