L.A. Care's Family Resource Centers offer free health and wellness classes in six communities across Los Angeles County: Boyle Heights, East L.A., Inglewood, Lynwood, Pacoima and Palmdale. Join a class to learn about nutrition, talk about parenting, share caregiving challenges or dance your stress away!

At the Inglewood Family Resource Center, you can attend a healthy cooking class, see a registered dietitian, get moving in a Zumba class or learn about your benefits if you are an L.A. Care member.
The Lynwood Family Resource Center promotes management of chronic diseases like asthma and diabetes. We offer health education and classes free to L.A. Care members and the public.
At the Pacoima Family Resource Center, we offer free, culturally focused health education resources and programs designed to promote wellness and healthy living.

14 Community Resource Centers to Improve Member and Community Health
L.A. Care and Blue Shield Promise are committing a combined $146 million to develop and expand Community Resource Centers across Los Angeles County. Over the next five years, the health plans will jointly open seven new centers, and rename and renovate the existing seven L.A. Care Family Resource Centers.
